Website Development

Website development services for fast sites that stay easy to change

We write the code by hand on mainstream frameworks, test it on real devices and hand over a site your team can update on a Tuesday afternoon without booking a developer.

Warning signs

Signs it's time for a rebuild

  1. Your pages take several seconds to appear on a phone.

  2. Changing a headline means opening a support ticket.

  3. Your theme or page builder fights every new idea.

  4. Plug-in conflicts and security updates eat a day every month.

  5. You can't add a new feature without breaking an old one.

Build it yourself

Stack a few blocks

Every site we build starts as small, reusable pieces. Click or tap to drop a block, drag one to throw it, and see how long your structure stands.

The interactive version runs on desktop browsers with 3D enabled.

In scope

What a development project covers

Front-end development in React and Next.js, written in TypeScript

Back-end work where needed: forms, APIs, integrations and logins

A headless CMS (for example Sanity, Contentful or Storyblok), with training for your editors

Responsive builds tested on current iPhones, Android phones, tablets and desktop browsers

Performance work: image optimisation, code splitting and caching

Accessibility testing with a keyboard, a screen reader and automated checks

Analytics and cookie consent set up in line with privacy law

Hosting, deployment pipelines and written documentation

How we build

From plan to launch

  1. Step 1: Technical plan

We pick the stack, hosting and CMS based on who will edit the site and how it needs to grow, then write the choices down so nobody is surprised later.

  2. Step 2: Components first

We build reusable components and test each one on its own before assembling pages from them. The code stays consistent, and new pages are quick to add.

  3. Step 3: Content and integrations

We connect the CMS, forms, analytics and any third-party tools, then move your existing content across.

  4. Step 4: Testing

Every template is checked on real devices, with a keyboard, with a screen reader and against a performance budget before it's signed off.

  5. Step 5: Launch and handover

On launch day we handle redirects, DNS and monitoring. Then we train your editors and hand over the documentation.

Our performance promise

The targets every launch has to meet

We measure these on mobile, with throttled network and CPU, before a site goes live. If a page misses one, we fix it before launch.

Lighthouse performance score on mobile

Largest Contentful Paint
< 2.5s
Cumulative Layout Shift
< 0.1
Lighthouse accessibility score

Handover

What you'll walk away with

A live, monitored site on fast hosting

A CMS your editors have been trained to use

Typed, documented code in a repository you own

A launch report with performance and accessibility scores

Build time

Typical build times

A marketing site of 10 to 20 pages usually takes six to ten weeks to build. Web apps and sites with complex integrations take longer, so we scope them in phases and ship something useful early.

FAQ

Website development questions

Mostly Next.js and React with TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, plus a headless CMS for content. If you already run WordPress or another platform, we can work with it where that makes sense.

Yes. We shape the CMS around your content, not the other way round, and train your editors. Most routine changes need no developer at all.

You do. The code lives in a repository in your name, and the hosting and CMS accounts belong to your company.

That's a standard part of every relaunch. We map each old URL to its new address, keep the pages that rank well and test the redirects before launch.

We usually deploy to managed platforms such as Vercel, which take care of scaling and SSL. We keep dependencies up to date, add security headers and avoid plug-ins we can't vet.

Yes, including dashboards, client portals and booking tools. We scope them in phases so real users can try something early.

Every launch includes a support period for fixing defects. After that you can choose a support plan, or keep the documentation and run things yourselves.
